Sunrise Paddle
Enjoy the river at our favorite time of day. Put in based on sunrise which varies throughout the year. Push off the bank just before sunrise and enjoy a quiet trip down the river.

Dining At Camp David Restaurant Paddle
Put in at the Alden access mid-afternoon, depending on water levels, and arrive at Camp David’s private dock for supper. The restaurant is located on the river with an elevator from water level to the dining area. Views of the river from the inside and a covered deck for outside riverside dining.

B & B Paddle
Cabin Cove Bed and Breakfast, a private two bedroom cabin on the Iowa River in Iowa Falls. The B & B has its own private dock. For reservations contact Shirley Welden at 641-648-9571 or visit www.bbcabincove.com.

Winery Paddle
Eagle City Winery – www.eaglecitywinery.com is located just ¼ mile from the Eagle City take out. Enjoy a leisurely float with a wine tasting at the end. The winery is a member of the Heart of Iowa Wine Trail.

Paddle and Pedal Tour
Leave your bicycle(s) at take out. Paddle down river and pedal back to pick up your vehicle.

Just a Paddle Paddle
Put in time and route is your choice.

Moonlight Paddle
Enjoy the full moon with a paddle around the impound area in Iowa Falls. (A lake like area upstream from the Iowa Falls dam) Best time to go is a few days either side of a full moon although other times are an option.

 
  What To Wear
Shorts or long pants depending on the weather, old tennis shoes or water sandals, and a jacket if needed.
What To Bring
Sunscreen, hat, bug spray, sunglasses, beverages and snacks.

  Rentals include canoe or kayak, life vest, paddle and delivery/pickup of the boats.  
     
  People shuttle is your own vehicle but we can help with the details.
